2022 FSLN Impact Report
Wow! As we look back on 2022, we are filled with amazement and gratitude for the relationships, connections, and impact created through the Food Systems Leadership Network.
This past year, 2,734 people accessed capacity building opportunities, 91% of program participants felt more equipped to advance racial equity, and 47 members were involved in the design and delivery of network services.
It’s numbers and stories like these that demonstrate we are on track towards reaching our 2025 impact goal of equipping 5,000 leaders with resources, relationships, and power to realize equitable food systems.
Explore the FSLN Impact Report and join us as we celebrate the growth, inspiration, and connection that defined 2022.
As the national FSLN Backbone team, we have a unique and privileged vantage point on food systems work – we get to see both the forest and the trees. Through daily interactions with leaders from across the country, we learn about all of the creative ways folks are building food systems equity, and over time can see how all of these efforts add up to huge impacts. We feel lucky to hear the stories of connection, see the adaptation of new methods, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and inspiration that are so vital to creating local and regional food systems.
Change is happening in communities large and small. Taken together, we are a force to be reckoned with. Food systems leaders, you are brilliant and beautiful; serving you is a tremendous honor!
