    Greetings, Network Weavers!

It’s been a couple of seasons since we put the FSLN’s Network Weavers Community of Practice to rest, but recently we’ve had several inquiries about it and it feels like there may be renewed interest in reconvening this community. It just so happens that a fellow network weaver and FSLN member, Tracie Barham, offered to share back her learnings from a recent training she participated in with Interaction Institute for Social Change on “Moving Through Chaos and Complexity: Network Weaving for Social Healing in Times of Great Change.” Gotta love that timing! Read on for details, feel free to share with your networks, and hope to see you there! We’ll get a sense during the call if there’s energy for continuing the CoP in the coming months ?

Please join us on Thursday, June 5th (11:00 – 12:00 Pacific / 2:00-3:00 Eastern) for an FSLN Member Share Back: Highlights from IISC’s “Moving Through Chaos and Complexity: Network Weaving for Social Healing in Times of Great Change”

FSLN member Tracie Barham will lead a dynamic and interactive session exploring key learnings from the Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC) training on network weaving. This training, led by Curtis Ogden and nisha purushotham, focused on how we can build and strengthen relationships across networks to support social healing in times of deep change.

In this one-hour session, you will:

    • Develop a shared understanding of what network weaving is and the forms it takes
    • Reflect on the ways we’re already weaving within our food systems work
    • Explore practical strategies you can apply in your organization and networks
    • Exchange ideas, resources, and real-world examples with peers
    • Identify opportunities to stretch your weaving practice
    • Leave with a curated list of powerful resources to support your continued learning

    About the Presenter:

Tracie Barham has a background in nonprofit fundraising and is currently working toward a Master’s in Engineering, Sustainability, and Health at the University of San Diego. She’s passionate about how food systems intersect with climate, health, and community—and excited to learn and share with fellow FSLN members as she steps into the next chapter of her career.
