    Hi Everyone,

I am Suparna Kudesia and I’m an FSLN Network Weaver of 2021 and on behalf of the Weavers, I wanted to say hey and introduce myself! We’re trying to revitalize some of these discussion groups. We were excited to find these groups and would love to know how they are being used by FSLN members in order to ensure we can build the most collective value. As a participant of Community Economic Development, what would y’all like to see in this group? How (if ever) have you used this group and how would you like to use this group? Are there some collective needs and offerings that we can share among ourselves in these groups?

    The Dream:

It is our dream that these FSLN groups will be thriving hubs for learning and collaboration, and it’s going to take some iterating to determine what that looks like and what we need in order to make that happen.

Our hope continues that natural stewards of each of those groups would emerge. We collectively would begin to have intentional, meaningful and deliberate conversation about how we can better the food system together. We’ll keep you posted about that if you’re interested! Feel free to reply here or head over to our Community Economic Development discussion group (https://foodsystemsleadershipnetwork.org/groups/community-economic-development/forum/) to start building community and a knowledge around Community Economic Development.

    With thanks,

    FLSN Network Weavers 2021

Hi There, Suparna! I am also working to reignite my activity on the FSLN discussion groups, especially as I have professionally joined the Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD) to work on food security within our 16 county rural region.

As a participant in this group, I would like to learn from others how they are using census data to inform their grant applications, and helping to inform local and state policy in their communities.

Thanks for the nudge. It was great to see your message when landing in this group! Grateful, Wally 🙂
