  Calling all F2FA Farmers!

  We are organizing a speaker panel for our April meeting on the 16th and we’d love your help! One thing we heard in the survey we circulated to the group in November (which is still open; link below!) was a desire to have more farmer voices present and to learn more about their perspectives, concerns, and experience with farm-to-food assistance work.

  To that end we are recruiting 3-4 farmers who would be willing to join us virtually on April 16th and to share their experiences. We are particularly looking for folks who have previously participated in LFPA or other F2FA programs and who have found ways of continuing to sell to and serve community partners supporting food access beyond their initial, grant supported purchase agreements. A $200 honoraria is available to honor panelist’ wisdom and time spent sharing it with us. If you have a farmer in mind please email [email protected], or share my email with them, or float an e-troduction to us both.

  Relatedly- if you have any questions you’d like to ask of our panelists about this topic- we’d love to hear them.
