Equitable distribution of LFPA funds
Hey all – I just got an inquiry from a fellow FSLN member around how folks are equitably distributing LFPA funds. Does anyone have experience or ideas for our colleague??
“I work at a Dept of Ag and I’m trying to figure
out the best most equitable way to distribute the funds we received from USDA.
Our usual competitive solicitation process creates and reinforces unequitable
practices. Have others posed these questions? Any other state agency you know
of are able and willing to collaborate and share knowledge with this rookie?”Happy to connect anyone directly with this individual if so. Thank you!!

One of WA state’s farm to food assistance programs through WSDA (our department of ag), We Feed WA, has an Evaluation & Equity Specialist on the team who would probably be willing to connect. Let me know if this is of interest, and I can make an introduction.
