Farm to Food Assistance CoP — Thursday, May 9 (2pm CT)
<ul type=”disc”>
- Topic: Let’s Talk About Money and Cash Flow. How are we managing grant reimbursements that have multiple pass throughs from the Federal level on down? How do we make sure we are getting the money to the farmers that need it in a timely manner? To address these questions, Myra Marcellin and Erin Pirro will ground us in financial literacy, cash flow management and accounts receivables. Then we’ll hear from Haile Johnston and Common Market’s innovative model that helped them build an internal fund for cash flow management so that they can focus on farmer and producer financial well-being. We’ll have plenty of time for group discussion and Q&A with these guest experts.
