Financing and Cash Flow Discussion: This Thursday
We’re going to get into it at our Community of Practice call this Thursday and talk about money, finance and cash flow. How are we managing grant reimbursements that have multiple pass throughs from the Federal level on down? How do we make sure we are getting the money to the farmers that need it in a timely manner?
To address these questions, Myra Marcellin and Erin Pirro, Farm to Food Assistance Learning Lab technical assistance advisors will first ground us in a common language and the issues regarding financing, cash flow management and accounts receivables.
Then we’ll hear from Haile Johnston and Common Market’s innovative model that helped them build an internal fund for cash flow management so that they can focus on farmer and producer financial well-being.
We’ll have plenty of time for group discussion and Q&A with these guest experts.
