    LFPA Plus program details available!

    Here in RI we just heard details from our state agency about the LFPA Plus program, which will extend LFPA for an additional year using Commodity Credit Corp. funds.

    This is additional funding for food purchases only (no admin) and is being awarded on a non-competitive basis. Our allocation in RI is more than the previous round, and we will be able to shift our current budget to allocate more funds towards admin over the full three years since none of the new funding can be directed towards administrative costs.

    Has anyone else heard from their state agencies about this extension?
