    hey y’all,

As we’re underway into this new world, would be great if folks could pass along anything they’re hearing regards to LFPA status. It’s only been three days of course, but we obviously have a lot of concerns both in USDA cancelling current contracts and definitely cancelling 2025. Would be great if people could share here what is coming up via all our different contacts.

Thanks for starting this thread, Andy. Definitely post things here if you receive any directives related to the program. I am most curious about any communication coming directly from your State administrators or USDA.

NSAC is monitoring any changes in funding agreements closely.

    Stay strong folks.

This was pre-inauguration, but my state level contact last Wednesday said that the USDA was in a pretty big hurry to automatically award LFPA25 to every state, then have states submit their plans for review for “release” of the awarded funds, just so the funds are already allocated to states. The other important part (which was news to me, I don’t know about you guys) is that all of LFPA and LFPA+ funds needed to be expended for LFPA25 to be usable.

Just wanted to share this too as another place to look to on the Impacts of the Executive Orders on Nonprofits. It isn’t just LFPA but it is apart of that https://nonprofitoregon.org/impact-of-executive-orders/

Sorry it won’t let me edit by comment above – these links go with that

Here is a link to notes, there are a few QR codes that you can use to stay connected and receive the full slide show when NAO publishes in. Here is the chart where they are tracking activities as urls in case the QR codes are a pain.
