Anyone heard anything about FMLFPP or RFSP grants?
Hey friends –
As we approach the end if the federal fiscal year, we are wondering if anyone who applied for FM/LFPP or RFSP grants this year has gotten word from USDA regarding their applications status? ?

Hey there.
No official word over here. I heard a rumor that we likely wouldn’t hear back on RFSP until mid-October. I’ve been checking this list regularly to see what grant awards have been published. https://portal.nifa.usda.gov/lmd4/recent_awards?report_title=Recent%20Awards&from_site=NIFA&search_label=Awards%20Listing

I was on the review panels for FMPP and RFSP. Both wrapped up in August (RFSP at the very end of Aug). I don’t know how long it takes AMS from when they approve all of the review panel reports to when they actually announce the awards. I got the impression that they wanted to get the awards out soon, but I’m guessing they had more applications than usual with the increased funding available. All that to say, I haven’t heard anything and I hope we hear soon!

Wondering the same thing about RFSP, especially now that we are in November! I have been checking the portal and haven’t seen anything. Have folks heard anything about their award status?
