January 16th VCC CoP Call
We’re excited to kick off the New Year with you all and to make 2024 a year in which we all feel supported and reinforced in our value chain work and communities. This call will be hosted by Eric DeLuca, the new facilitator for this CoP (bio below). We’ll start off January’s session by getting to know each other and looking at the ways Value Chain Coordination shows up in our day-to-day work. Whether you’re in a well-established VCC with a wide range of activities, an aspirational startup, or simply jazzed to learn more and get more involved in this work, there’s a valued place for you in the conversation. Eric will be sharing an overview of potential topical destinations for our 2024 itinerary, but your interests and learning edge will help shape group priorities as we move through the year together. Please join us; hope to see you soon!
Eric DeLuca is the Food Systems Expert-in-Residence at Food Finance Institute. He has engaged in $10+ million in funding decisions since 2010 and serves on the national Food Systems Finance Advisory Council of the Council of Development Finance Agencies. For over 12 years, Eric played leadership roles in the VT Farm to Plate Network, currently curating its Priority Strategy Team focused on Equitable Financing for Farmland Access. He served nine years–four as vice-chair–on the Vermont Working Lands Enterprise Board, a state-based funding program serving the food, farm, forest, and wood products sectors. He co-founded the University of Vermont Food Hub Management Professional Certificate program, the first in the country.
Welcome, Eric!
