Hi VCC CoP folks,
We’ve got an exciting session coming up tomorrow! (Tues. 11/19/24 from 2-3:15 PM Central) I’m truly grateful for our 2 guest speakers, alums of the breakthrough design firm IDEO who are joining us to share ways to get “unstuck” via 5 simple questions using the Innovators’ Compass. Compass founder Ela Ben-Ur will be joined by food anthropologist and innovation leader Rebecca Chesney. With them, we will get acquainted with this powerful tool and dive into how it can support sustainability innovation in food systems.
As we head toward 2025, the broader theme of the Community of Practice is Identifying Strategic Leverage Points in Your Value Chain. We’ll be exploring that theme together this month through the approachable method of trying out and refining relevant solutions to challenges you experience, as described above. Next month, we’ll continue by getting to know the Solidarity Economy Principles and how they can help folks come together to build the economy communities want.
