Value Chain Coordination
Physical infrastructure like warehouses and trucks are essential to regional food economies. But they also require coordination – people and organizations who make fruitful connections between businesses and organizations in the supply chain; who hold people accountable to values like equity and transparency; who make the political and business ground fertile for success. Value Chain Coordination is the development of soft infrastructure, like relationships, networks and information sharing channels, that creates thriving and sustainable regional food economies.
This Community of Practice is a place for those doing the multi-faceted work of value chain coordination to connect and build relationships, share knowledge, ideas and innovations, and work through common challenges. We meet monthly, on the third Tuesday of the month from 3-4:15pm EST. Register for our monthly meeting here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIvd-2rrjIuHdF_sMjxrJi3BufHSbQzO0P9
Past meeting notes are posted under the “Documents” tab. Use the “Discussions” tab to post and respond to questions and updates in between meetings. Questions? Reach out to [email protected] or [email protected].
