Angel Mendez is the Executive Director of Red Tomato, with over 23 years of experience driving innovation in the food industry. He is actively involved in various food-related organizations, including the Growing Justice Fund, Wallace Center Advisory Group, Rhode Island Food Policy Council, Farm Fresh Rhode Island, and Equal Exchange.  Angel is recognized for his dedication to sustainable and equitable food systems, making a significant impact both regionally and nationally. His expertise spans strategic planning, Network building for systems change,  operations, IT, logistics, financial management, systems management, consulting, and mentoring.
