$133 million now available from USDA to support local and regional food systems
There has never been a better time to apply for USDA LAMP Grants…
The USDA just announced $133 million in competitive funding for its 2023 Local Agricultural Marketing Program (LAMP) Grants. This is a huge increase from past funding cycles–$36 million more than last years banner amount. Funding is available through the Farmers Market Promotion Program, Local Food Promotion Program, and Regional Food Systems Partnership Grants. Applications are due May 2, 2023 at 11:59 Eastern Time.
These grants are a fantastic opportunity to get the support your work needs, but they can be tricky to design and apply for, so get started early! Below you’ll find resources about these grants, as well as tools to help you create winning proposals.
