Collective Wayfinding: Stories from Growing a Justice Oriented Organization from the Start

Founded in 2019, the Syracuse-Onondaga Food Systems Alliance (SOFSA) is somewhat unique in building a racial equity and orientation into our organizational fabric from the outset. Through this session, SOFSA’s network shares stories and reflections from their efforts – both successful and less so – alongside a “menu” of tangible, action-oriented first steps that organizations might embark upon in their own journeys.

Slides and resource list are linked below.

This is the first webinar in a two-part series supported by the FSLN Activation Grants that explore how networks are embedding racial equity into their structures and programs. Part two features the San Diego Food System Alliance.
