About Dele:
Rev Dele is a grandmother elder, earthkeeper, mystic whose work blends an earth based spirituality with ecological sciences in order to achieve climate and economic justice. She maintains that justice begins with inner balance and then spreads into just relationships between land, workers, economic and political systems. She shares her work in speaking engagements and consulting with farming communities. As a co-founder of Soil & Souls, she co-leads a community of practice in L’nu wisdom in the Mahicantuck (Hudson River) Valley of New York. She co-convened the Indigenous Mothers Community Land Trust to secure land for the farmers involved in the community of practice.
Areas of Expertise
Seeking to Mentor
I wish to work with Black herb growers and food leaders who:
- Want to grow personally
- Have interest in Indigenous land management for market
- Wish to cultivate strength from the land
- Want assistance shifting their communities from hobby farming to regenerative food systems
- Want to explore new strategies to engage faith communities in food sovereignty
- Are interested in cooperative business structures and communally owned land
Yassss! It is well worth it. Fantastic mentor. I’ve grown so much in a short period of time: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, internally and intellectually.
