Donation Station Cultivation 101: An Innovative Program to Support Food Security

FSLN members Reggie Morrow, Susie Huser, and Maribeth Saleem-Tanner with Community Food Initiatives share their innovative program for developing the local economy, supporting local farmers, and alleviating food insecurity that combines purchasing, gleaning, and collecting donations. For every $1 donated at farmers markets and produce auctions, CFI purchases 1 lb of fresh food from local farmers and works with food access partners to distribute fresh produce for their community.
