Action Opportunity: We need a better farm bill
<div>Hey folks – the farm bill is nearing the House floor with a vote as soon as next week. </div>
And yet, this farm bill is yet again disappointing. It does nothing to restore the harm done to SNAP; it provides an empty promise to fund local food programs; and despite how much farmers and our communities have suffered since the 2018 bill, it doesn’t include any new funding for programs that we love.
A handful of national groups have started a letter that they will send to House Congressional Members to request that they reject the current House farm bill in pursuit of a much better alternative.

Please give the letter a read and see if your organization / business can sign on. The only restriction for signers is that they must be farmer serving or farmer representing.
