Food Safety Requirements
Hi all,
We’re still finalizing some of our LFPA project details and curious what others are considering as far as food safety requirements. Specifically, I’m curious what you might be requiring of food hubs or aggregators if they are playing a primary role in food distribution. In our model, we are open to a variety of informal and formal food hubs, farms, and food-non profits. We’re trying to come up with a unified food safety requirement across all those organizations.

Hi Andy,
In states that have regulations regarding food hubs, farmers markets, food offerings/aggregation/wholesale licensing and the application of food safety requirements for each, would that direct someone as to how they need to incorporate for a funding request? I may think that requirements vary widely depending on the state and its level of rigor with FSMA, food sales, or other reqs?
