USDA 2022 Training Registration & Course Offerings for GroupGAP
Good afternoon GroupGAP Participants,
USDA is pleased to announce that the GAP auditor training classes for 2022 are open for pre-registration. For new auditors, Audit Services Branch is offering 3 classes for the Harmonized GAP standard and 2 classes for the GAP&GHP standard. For current auditors of the Harmonized standards, we are offering 3 Harmonized update auditor trainings. Attending one of these update trainings is mandatory for existing harmonized auditors. All of these trainings will be through the Blackboard online training platform with live instruction.
Harmonized GAP (Includes Harmonized GAP Plus+)
Each of these classes consists of 5 days of live instruction and independent assignments. Classes will begin Monday and end Friday, however times will be determined depending upon the composition of students’ locations. In general, students will be expected to be available 8 hours per day for the entire week. Students must have access to a stable internet connection, Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers, and their own email address to be used for enrollment.
Harmonized GAP Training;
March 7 – March 11, 2022 <div>Harmonized GAP Training;
April 25 – April 29, 2022Harmonized GAP Training;
May 9 – May 13, 2022GAP&GHP Transition
Current auditors or students who wish to be trained in USDA GAP&GHP will need to complete (or have completed) a Harmonized Plus+ class, and then attend an online USDA GAP&GHP transition training 2-day, online class. Classes will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, however times will be determined depending upon the composition of students’ locations. In general, students will be expected to be available 8 hours per day for both days . Students must have access to a stable internet connection, Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers, and their own email address to be used for enrollment.
GAP&GHP Transition
Training; April 5 – 6, 2022 </div><div>GAP&GHP Transition
Training; May 24 – 25, 2022Harmonized Update
Current auditors of the Harmonized standard are required to attend one of the offered update trainings. The training will be no longer than a half a day and times will be determined and announced at a future date. These updates will cover new changes made due to the GFSI technical equivalence process and the publication of the Auditor Manual for the Harmonized standard. The course will include live instruction through blackboard.

Pre-Registration forms
(attached) must be completed for all students who wish to register for any
course in 2022. Please return by January 14, 2022. - New auditors are
responsible for attending a Produce Safety Alliance course and the
Fundamentals of Auditing prior to their class. Fundamentals of
Auditing will be offered online through USDA’s Blackboard Platform.
Self-Registration instructions for the Fundamentals of Auditing will be
sent out after pre-registration forms have been returned. - All forms should be

will be forthcoming.
