Network Equity Design Sprint

Attention network leaders!

Are you working to center racial equity in your network practices? How do you track progress towards centering racial equity? What are the dimensions that you measure? Would you like to learn what other leaders are doing and help create a tool to audit your network and find ways to track your progress in centering racial equity?

The FSLN will be hosting an action learning circle with 7 food systems leaders to co-create and test a racial equity audit prototype for networks. Building on the existing work in this area, we envision this tool including questions a network needs to ask to reflect on itself and hold itself accountable to its goals on racial equity. We estimate members will spend 15 hours on this project including calls with the group, reviewing and providing feedback on questions, developing a process for applying the tool, and testing out the prototype tool. The group will meet biweekly from August 24-November 2, on Tuesdays from 2-4 PM ET. Group members will receive a $500 honorarium for their time, and credit as co-creators of a network equity audit prototype.

If you are passionate about centering racial equity with intention and application, then this project is for you! We’re looking for participants who are creative, dedicated, and excited to collaborate.

To apply to join this group, send a resume and your responses to the questions below to [email protected] with ‘Network Equity Design Sprint’ in the subject line by 5pm PT Tuesday, July 27th
